Hey John just wanted to send you some warm greetings from CROATIA DRUM CAMP International Percussion Summer Courses! We consider ourselves very blessed to have welcomed you here at our 1st edition way back in 2007, as well as last year (2012). We had a fantastic edition in 2013 as well (Headlining Benny Greb). Looking forward to seeing you again soon! Petar

Hey John, we met for a lesson over the summer at MSM and I really got a lot out of it. This question is completely unrelated to what we did but I thought you might be the guy to ask. I love Elvin's style and have been checking him out extensively. I love to hear drummers be melodic in there solos( play the melody of the tune). I feel like Elvin is a master at this but I have to say its hard for me to hear. Are there any specific solos that come to mind for you where this is more evident? Do you have any unique ways to approach Elvin when referring to this? I mentioned soloing, but time keeping in general would be much appreciated too. Thanks for your time, Josh
