Hello John. First, I want to mention that i'm really enjoying your bool "The Art of Bebop Drumming". It helps me a lot, thank you. I have a question about how to tune my snare. I'm trying to tune my snare to a satisfing sound, suitable for jazz, and i can't get it to sound how i want. I have an all maple snare 14X5.5 snare drum, with a coted ambassador batter head and an evans clear hazy 300 snare side head on it. When i listened to the recordings of "The Art of..." i really like the way your snare sounded. I would be very thankful if you could give some advise on how to tune my snare's heads, and tentioning my snares, to make it sound similar to your's. thank you so much for you help, Boaz.

Hi John. Former student Jonathan Riley here. Just wanted you to know the work you did with me at M.S.M. really started to pay off once out of school and applying it. I still use the brush techniques you helped me delvelop. I find myself using your approach with my students as well. Thanks.

Hi John. I first saw you in clinic at the Rhythm week in England many years ago. With your exercises I began the long path of discovering and playing jazz. Since then I've bought all of your books and have been playing drums professionally for over 5 years. You really have been the main inspiration for my drumming and I feel your books provide direction into an otherwise very intimidating and daunting style of music. So thanks! Is there gonna be any new books coming out? Sam
