Hello John, I've been watching you play drums for years and I got to say that you have very good hands, I mean your left hand seems to be very strong for a right handed drummer. I was wondering if you're a left handed person playing on right handed drums set? Thanks, Martin

Hi John, thank you for dedicating your life to drums, and sharing your knowledge and experiences with us. Your books are incredibly helpful. I've been playing drums for 15+ years but have recently stopped gigging so I can spend some serious time improving the fundamentals of my mechanics and technique. I live 20 miles north of Boston, MA and am looking for a teacher that can help me improve my technique with a more relaxed & natural approach. Do you have any recommendations for anyone in my area? Thank you for your time.

Hi john, I am curious about the way you tune your drums in a Jazz setting. Do you tune them to a certain note or just where you think they sound good? Thanks so much!
