John, you have a most interesting itinerary. It was great to be part of the Sligo Jazz Project 2013 and have you share your expertise with aspiring drummers like me. By this and your patient encouragement you have inspired me to work towards "stickability" in both senses! I am working my way through your book, "The art of Bop Drumming", with new enthusiasm. It was also great to hear you playing with the other world class musicians. I hope to see you in Sligo next year. Until then - take care and best wishes. Alex

Hi John, huge fan. In your short clip entitled "Classic Solo Phrases, Max Roach",when you double the tempo are you using double strokes? You are an amazing inspiration, thanks. Pete
