Hi John Firts I would like to thank you for those beautiful Books and DVD. I was working on the Exercise to sing while comping and soloing and I found it a great cnoncept, but now I transcribed a Tune from Tony Williams New Lifetime (Proto-Cosmos) and I saw that there's no "real" Melody sow what would you recommend to sing, or what else...? Thanks, and I hope for more Books/DVD's. Great Job

Hi John, I am really enjoying your book "The Art of Bop Drumming". Besides comping, the book address many areas of jazz drumming that other books do not. For example, up-tempo swing drills, soloing, brush playing etc... My question is, do know of a book that drills setting up figures? How to play fills before a figure and the figure itself?
