John! I'm a drummer, 14 and I live in London - your books have really helped me understand further, the concepts of Jazz. I'd always be listening to Elvin or Tony and going: "HOW?!" but "Beyond Bop" is really, REALLY helping. It's a fantastic book. Thanks a lot for making Jazz so much more accessable!

Hi John , I attended your clinic in Toronto last month and it was really great. I really enjoyed your comments about the drumming "language" and the sheet of solo snippets that you handed out. Would it be too much to ask to get a listing of the artists and recordings that correspond to each ? Some I know but others I don't really recognize. Thanks again it was a great clinic.

Hi John, I recently had the pleasure of attending your workshop in Toronto. Having availed myself of the use of your highly regarded books over the years this was a great opportunity to see you perform in person. You provided many useful tips and technique guides. What I found most inspirational was the spirit behind your playing and teaching. I'm sure this was especially beneficial to some of the younger audience members in terms of encouraging them to enthusiastically embrace drumming as a career. Thanks. Zoltan

Hello John I am a serious student of hand technique (ie Moeller technique etc.) I am incredibly impressed with the way that you have trained your hands. I know that you are an incredible and I have studied under one of your former students. Please let me know how available you are and how much you charge for a lesson. Thank you.
