I also own your 3 drum books and I basically learned how to play jazz from these resources. Mr. Riley, I am interested in buying a Zildjian 20" custom dry light ride. I am wondering if you have ever used this particular model and what your thoughts are concerning the cymbal. Also, what are your thoughts on Yamaha's new stage custom, all birtch, be-bop kits. Should I buy this cheaper kit, or just hold out for a real custom kit?? I currently play on a hipgig which I love... any insight would be great.
