John, Always enjoyed your educational material as well as your great multi dimensional playing. As a 62 year old drummer/percussionist/vocalist with 35 + years of performing behind me (now out of the music business) I like to keep my chops sharp by playing at least an hour or 2 a day not only on a practice pad but at the tubs playing along with great music.....usually with the accompanying charts. My question to you now is: is there a possibilty I could get copies of the drum book for the VJO CD "Can I Persuade You?" I am willing to pay whatever you would charge to copy them and mail them to me. Several leaders such as Mike Vax, Bob Florence, Dave Stahl, Gordon Goodwin, etc. have done this for me in the past and made me very happy. I love big band drumming and prefer having the charts in front of me when I play. Can you help me? Please advise. Pete Zito, 3rd Phila., Pa. drummistic@aol.com (email)

Hello John I was wondering if you still use a particular cymbal: Zildjian Swish Knocker (as stated in the Zildjian artist website). Or do you use a different Chinese style cymbal? Thanks.
